Insight on physics a level?

I'll be taking physics a level ...I want an insight of what I'll be learning about and how often you guys think I should revise. What will the course be about ? What do YOU think is the hardest part of the syllabus .... How hard is it to get an A ? How big is the jump from gcse to a level?
Thanks
id say it is the biggest jump excluding further maths, put your most time into it, if you enjoy the theory then you will have no problem
By theory what do you mean? Well I'm absolutely terrified but I'll do my best because my career depends on it  also hard work leads to success ....I'll work hard

if your career depends on it and u will work hard then u should be fine, others just think it will be like gcse physics when its not. Calculations are quite simple when i mean theory i mean explanations on things like waves, photoelectric effect and electricity mainly which is unit 2
