Best gap year destinations?
I want to take a gap year next year for before I go to university. Does anyone know of any places or specific things to apply for when taking a gap year?
It depends on you. Are you an outdoorsy person/active person? Maybe a backpacking holiday (with lots of walking and maybe camping) would be good, or a program like Camp America. Maybe you're more artsy person, so a large collection of long weekends in places like Venice would be better. Or you might want to attend workshops in your area to learn a new skill/language? You may also just want to work the year away. If your course is more vocational, maybe just a year of work experience placements may be better.
