Boomboomboom, although Homerton is considered to be an education college. As you are not studying education they will not consider you in that light. Trust.

(goes into dramatic mode)

I imagine it a bit like this:

employer: Homerton? Isn't that an education college of some sort?
boomboomboom: It used to be, but since 2003 (I just made that date up) it has been fully accepted into the University and accepts academic students.
employer: how interesting.

so, don't worry.

still, i just think that for top jobs reputation will matter. I just wont put homerton on my cv.lol.

One of the outstanding benefits of Homerton is that its Drama Society is the best in Cambridge and opens up immense doorways into television and broadcasting etc.

Heh. This just goes to show how quickly perceptions change. Until four or five years ago Homerton didn't even have a drama society. At least, if it did, it was one of those slowly-dying ones which put on maybe one production a year. It was always somewhat hampered by being so far out of town, you see. Then a bunch of enterprising English & Drama students decided it was ridiculous that the only college with a drama course didn't have a proper soc. Which is how HATS in its present form came about.

So I doubt HATS is going to open doorways more than any other college drama society...

(Anyway, Pembroke Players is clearly the best college drama soc. Not, er, that I'm biased or anything  )
