Is it best to just come out and say it?

i have recently not had much luck with girls and i am pretty poor at any sort of how to say... smooth talking. anywyas basically i like a girl but she is only an acquantance really and i am basically wondering if its worth trying instead of getting to know her really well, trying to flirt etc build up to it i just next time ther is an appropriate moment talk to her on her own and basically say in pretty much as many words, i really like you and would love to take you out some time if you would like. i have no idea how it will be recieved but basically i cant be bpothered with all the crap this time.
Do you think girls particularly this dramatically affects my chances of success?

I love people who just don't get it. Dude, you don't "sweet talk" anyone. They'll get bored and tell you to piss off. Believe me, it gets boring having people tell me how great I am all the time. As people may have noticed, it has even started rubbing off on me. As modest as I am, social pressure is forcing me to inform everyone of how great I am, just to stop them saying it.

Anyway, just get her number (girls give it out easier than you'd think), and then ask her for a date. Don't tell her "I love you so much and want to spend all my time with you" or anything along those lines. It'll be fairly evident that you like her else you won't be getting her number.

Seriously just come out and say it to her! I like guys who come right out with it, it takes so much time them beating around the bush!
