Hi everyone,

Do you need Psychology A Level to be a Psychologist?
Do you need a science GCSE to become one?

I'd say if you didn't take psychology A level then you're not really that interested in it.. But I'm sure there's ways in if you didn't have the chance to take the A level etc. As for the science GCSE, I'm nearly certain that you wouldn't need that, especially if you go to university to study psychology. And most schools don't offer psychology GCSE, so I doubt you need that, but again if you want to study psychology then I'd suggest taking that :P
If you want to do psychology at uni then its advisable that you do it at A-Level although you don't have to have done it. To get onto a psych course they don't look at science GCSEs, most say you need a B at gcse maths though.
