What Do these grade requirements mean?

Hi so I'm looking at a higher apprenticeship in business consultancy and the requirements are at least 280 UCAS points 'in up to 3 A levels'.

Does 'in up to 3 A levels' mean:

they only count full A levels in the 280 minimum total?

or they count everything up to three A levels (including AS levels and extended project) in the 280 minimum total?
