Are guys are only friends with girls they are attracted to?

attractive in the sense they find good looking not that they fancy. I've heard this said a lot and wonder if it's even remotely true or true in loads of peoples experiences?

I reckon that any man can be freinds with any woman regardless of looks. However, i find that when men meet new people, women in particular, they will talk first to the more good looking ones. Because of that, they are more likely to make freinds with good looking women than not so nice ones. Freindship therefore isnt exclusive to babes, rather, just get more attention and more likely to get a freind.

I'm friends with everyone on my corridor. Everyone in my block. Was friends with everyone in my classes in 6th-form. Everyone I work with.
What are the chances of me finding them all attractive, when we've just been randomly put together?
