Drinking Tap Water in Falmouth
I'll be applying for Falmouth come 2016 and I was just wondering if using a filter would allow me to drink tap water?
In London I normally drink tap water So i got a shock when in Falmouth - the water tasted horrible
What would you guys suggest? Is it worth buying a good filter or shall I be drinking bottled water for a few years :3

London's water is very hard (i.e., most of it has passed through limestone and chalk, resulting in a high mineral content). In contrast the South West of England has soft water. As a result of having a different mineral content, the water has a different taste.
A filter may help change the taste to something more palatable, but it may not make much of a different. Alternatively, I would suggest trying squash.
