Do Aston university view personal statements as REALLY important?

Hi,

The most important thing when it comes to making a decision are usually predicted grades meeting the entry requirements for the course, then personal statements come into play.

They tend to be used more often in the admissions process for popular courses which don't go into clearing. We put together a guide on how to write a good personal statement for all our applicants last year, you can find it here:

Hey, well im applying for audiology- AS grades ABBB, hopefully predicated graded A*AA or AAA at the very least.

Im so worried about my personal statement though- tanx for the link will sure check it out!
