Why do I always crush on people who are mean to me?

I know of a few really nice, down to earth, pleasant guys who have expressed interested in me, but I'm not attracted to them :confused:

Yet atm my current crush wouldn't care if I was run over by a bus tomorrow (or he'd laugh or something).

Come from a dysfunctinal family, mother cheated on father, father always pandering to her requests. Personality wise as odd as this sounds, I'm a lot like my father - I go for people who have a nasty streak. Please help :frown:

your Solution: Get picky, pronto, and have your eye on more than one person at once - believing that you have many more options, even if you'd have to work to get them, forces us to make brilliant decisions. Try it, starting with school/uni on Monday morning. :biggrin:

So... yawn. Another thread where some girl only wants bad boys. That is until they take your heart, rip it out and spit on it. Oh sure, they won't do it for a while, they'll just wait until you're just thinking you've changed their ways, then they'll suddenly turn on you leaving you cold and alone. After all your friends have left you because they tried to warn you and you told them to get lost.

Oh yes, the bad guy will get you in the end.

Maybe cos you're Dad had a similar personality to you and got messed about you feel this would happen to you, so you go after mean guys that show no interest you and won't have a relationship with you, because they can't cheat on you and hurt you if they don't even get with you in the first place.

Saying that, I never like the nice guys who like me either, just because they get kinda clingy and dependant. I like to have to work for something.
