Because... they're shy of all girls?
Look, I do not want to be a bitch. But please lose weight. Go for a healthy, more fulfilling lifestyle. One that doesn't involve heart problems, obesity, infertility and early death.

It is a growing minority and that is why it is concerning and a public health risk.

And negative criticism helps? I'd be more worried about your thought process than OP's weight.

Of course it helps.

In the same way that it is rare to find someone who is openly racist because of sustained public criticism of their ideas, we must deal with this pro-fat phenomena that is sweeping our nation.

Are...are you actually high? :indiff: No it doesn't, it has a higher chance of making someone feel **** and resorting to other methods to cope and I bet you it isn't gonna be a healthier lifestyle.

Sure, it's a problem but I'm not particularly sure shaming them is going to help them in any way. You could've told OP something beneficial to her and not crap she already knows.

No, I don't do recreational drugs. They have an adverse effect on my health.

Are you trying to argue that society shunning fat people leads to more people over-eating? How?

Are you some sort of drone?

No, I'm not saying they'll over eat, I'm saying they won't necessarily adopt a healthier lifestyle after being shunned.

I'm not talking in absolutes.

Giving people a social incentive for fat people to lose weight will result in more people losing weight. This does not mean that all fat people will lose weight rather, it means that more fat people will lose weight.
No idea where this pure hatred for overweight people has come from or why its acceptable to be cruel and ridicule them, even if it is there choice etc. why go out of your way to try and make someone unhappy?

I'm not sure you got the part where you were shunning her? What's the point if it's negative? You don't tell a stupid person they're stupid and claim you're helping them - it doesn't work that way.

Im proid of being happy in the body i was given. A lot of the time its how things work out. And i want every other girl out there to feel the same and be proud of their beachbodies!!

it's not the body you were 'given', being fat is entirely the result of your own actions unless you're one of the tiny minority with a legit metabolic condition
:frown: why would people be like this to me
Im happy!! i look after my kids im a good mum

But stupid people have a financial incentive to work harder and increase their intelligence.

In a free-market, fat people would have a similar incentive - they would have to pay for their own healthcare. However, due to our socialised healthcare system, these incentives do not exist; we as a society must strive to disincentivise obesity in our own way.

It isn't a difficult concept - people do what they are incentivised to do and these incentives can either be financial or social.
