Kangaroo math challenge
Has anyone done the European Pink kangaroo before? I am doing the challenge this year.

Unfortunately the main European Kangaroo website is in French (along with all the past papers provided!) but you may be able to find more results on Google.

I don't remember, but possibly. It's a nice easy question... I'm not convinced it has much to do with maths though (other than the most basic algebra and arithmetic). I suppose the same is true of many Maths Challenge questions; they're more about lateral thinking than mathematical manipulation. (There's nothing wrong with this! Thinking about how to approach problems is an essential skill in maths!)
Just wish I was fluent in French.
I did have an intensive sailing on Google, but I only found the papers for European Math Challenge for the competition in Canada and USA! They have grade 2-12. Does anyone know which one is equivalent to Year 11 in the UK?
