Simplification of Indices

How would you simplify this: (3/c)^-2

I think it would be (c/3)^2 which would then be c^2/3^2 then c^2/9 .

You can think of it as [(3/c)^-1]^2 as you just multiply then exponents with when there are brackets like this
Which is (c/3)^2 = c^2 / 9
