I am about to start studying Bachelor of Engineering (Q65) in October but I am still waiting to find out if my credit transfer application was successful therefor I can't actually register for the course yet. To register for financial support I have to be registered for the course and on the Open Uni website it states that I must have registered for financial support by 03/09/15. If I do not find out about my credit transfer before then does this mean I will not be granted any funding from SAAS or will they just back date it to me when I find out the prices of each module being studied this year?

It's worth contacting the Open University and SAAS directly about this, as the general policy is that applications must be on time in order to be considered.

The Open University's contact page is here: http://www.open.ac.uk/contact

SAAS' contact page is here: http://www.saas.gov.uk/contact.htm

Good luck!

For anyone else facing this problem... I phoned Open Uni today and they have told me that because I have already submitted my credit transfer application on time and I am just waiting on them to confirm it I will be given extra time to give them my financial support application, 1 week to get it to them upon receiving confirmation of my credit transfer.
