    firstly, in the brine production, the overall equation is:

    2NaCI + H2O --> H2 + CI2 + 2NaOH

    therefore, u mix the NaOH and CI2 together:

    2NaOH + CI2 --> NaCIO + NaCI + H2O (cold)

    this is wt i think...

    actually to be precise
    use the same type of apparatus used for the production of Nacl but remove the membrane filter...
    you`ll produce NaClO as well
    only in larger quantities

    How is NaCl produced? Heat sodium with chlorine gas?
