That's a lot of good ones. Obviously your friend will have preferences of genre that mean they won't like all of them but these are a good starting point.

I'd add Schindlers List and Blade Runner as well.

Excellent list :3 I have seem just about all of them albeit a few - I would probably add 'One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) too as that was a classic film. I will add some more when I can think of any but you seem to have covered it :3
