Tips for those joining year 11?
Hi, I'm new here.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for someone who's about to join year 11 this September? Last year I slacked off a lot so I'm hoping to start this year fresh and give it everything I can. Give me any advice, I'm sure it'll be helpful in some way.

One thing that i would say is that it's quite surprising how much you can improve in a few months let alone a whole school year. For sciences, learning definitions is key, as with humanities subjects. With Maths, just practice as much as possible. Doing as many past papers as you can get your hands on is the only way you'll do well in Maths in my opinion. With languages, really try to nail the grammar. Once that's learned, picking up vocabulary becomes a much easier task.
