Temporary loss of sensation in body

Does anyone suffer something like this? I get this occasionally, its weird. I get up walk into the hallway at home (always that place for some reason).
And then suddenly I cant feel myself walking, I feel like ive lost all my sensation in my body and muscles. I can control my body, I usually swing my arms and can do it, but I cant feel it. I lose this sensation and feeling of my body for like a good few minutes. Its very odd and Ive been worrying about it, its like im floating, what is it? please help, thanks.

O.o Miss BA Havent seen you in ages!
That sounds pretty strange, Ive heard of people who lose control when they have extreme feelings of emotion but thats more total loss of control rather than sensation.
Sometimes when I stand up to quickly I get quite dizzy from the headrush and feel Like Im in a bit of a strange dreamworld state..

Any of the problems that I could suggest would mean you need to go to a GP.

Go to a GP.

Edit: Unless its just a spaced out sort of feeling... in that case stop being silly and enjoy it.

Hi Hanzing  Nah its not a headrush, because Im usually walking when it happens and also I dont feel dizzy, I dont feel ill in that kind of way.

Shiny apple - could you list the problems that you are sugessting, thank you.

Are you sure you lose all feeling? This would make it very difficult to walk. Since your body relies on sensory feedback mechanisms, you would have a constant 'falling' sensation. What you describe does not sound normal at all, and I strongly recommend that you make an appointment to see your GP. It may be a recognised (possibly even common?) disorder, or it could be symptomatic of another condition (e.g. low blood pressure). The only way you will know for sure is by seeing a doctor.

No Its not a falling sensation at all, its like, urm, its hard to explain. But when ure walking you feel you are walking, you feel ur feet touching the ground, you feel your arms swinging at the side of you. I lose ALL that, I feel like im floating more than falling. Everytime Ive had a bp check, my levels have been ok.

List includes, but is not limited to: Poor blood supply to the legs (many more complex things involved in that), Deficiencies of all sorts, Nerve injuries.

I guess those are the more serious things. Blood supply issues are likely, but some of them are very minor such as sitting on vessels for too long or can range to real problems.
