I cant say I have vast experience on air fresherners but I would think that while it will probably sting and irritate your eyes I wouldnt think It would do to much serious damage. As you said you have already thoroughly washed them out then you have probably got rid of most of the harmful chemicals that may effect it.

I can say with some confidence that you won't wake up blind, but I'm not a medical professional and if you're at all worried then you can call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.

The standard First Aid for irritants entering the eye is irrigation under cool running water for ten minutes, and it seems that you have done that already.

I think that if you are very worried and you go to hospital they will give you eye drops to clean your eyes. I once got deodorant in my eyes and they started sticking to my eyelids :frown:

You've washed your eyes, nothing else will happen. If you have a headache it's because you accidentally breathed some in.

*stumbles* "Who said that?!"

Thanks for the understanding posts people, I was worried I'd come off as a bit of a donut, but I couldn't really justify being anonymous!

I've just got in from a house party, a friend of mine thought it would be funny to spray Peach air freshener in my eyes.... I washed them thoroughly and stuff, but have a bit of a headache now, and that's about the only symptom.

Anybody have any words of reassurance that I won't wake up blind, or dead?

Think it's all over for you, enjoy your last few hours.
