I have to produce a piece of creative writing but am completely stumped for ideas. I have an opening but do not know how to back it up. If anybody could give me suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. My opening is:

It was cold. So cold. At the peak of one of the tallest mountains in the world. I gazed at the landscape below. I saw a bird fly by. I wondered for a second “how do they do it?”, but I quickly snapped back into reality. I was stuck. With no idea about how to get back to society. No one knew I was there. No one knew what I was going through. No one.

Your sentences in my opinion are too short and snappy. They are effective in the first and last few sentences, but lose effect throughout the mid section. I'd personally make it longer.

Would you be able to give me any prompts to help?
Also, I was planning on making it longer but as I said, I am completely stumped for ideas and creativity
