I need to get a new cv - do you think it is woorth paying for one to be done proffesionally? do you know where there is a good site that does the all the formatting ?

if you're going for a job in next, tesco, mcdonalds or something fairly crap theres no need to do a professional job of it. If its a good job your applying for, with degree requirements and such it could be worth to get a professional job done.

However as the post above says, you can do it on your computer just as well whatever the case.

its not worth getting done proffesionally, that service is for pl in buisness, going for high flying jobs
just make your own using one of the templates listed above

I don't think it's worth getting a professional one done. After all, things such as layout etc are pretty superficial when it comes to CV's...content is more important, and you'll know what to put in more than anyone else! However, I do urge you to get it proof-read etc. My dad owns a translation company and you wouldn't believe how many CVs he's turned down due to simple spelling errors (probably more serious in this case because your spelling would actually count!). Anyway, paying money for one is pointless and often the more simple ones are best.
