But I'm not even a student - I'm the enemy of all you postgrads/future academics...I'm a member of the administration - and even worse the CENTRAL administration - not the nice lade in the office who helps sort out expense claims!

I set targets and quantify things and point out that you aren't quite as great as you like to think you are :eek:

Bah, I had to be student representitive in a 2 hour meeting this morning on proposals for new clearer university regulations for post graduate students, that have to be put to the university senate. Soooooo boring. I certainly don't envy you, PQ!

Hmm, sorry, but I think I'm procrastinating a bit too much at the moment, and I really need to get that last extended essay written because it'll count towards my final grade...

Well, by my calculations we have 6 names up there and 6 members on the socs board. Now if Mr Boosh is going to be a member he has to do it properly or I'm going to get grumpy.

I am very grumpy. I have just wasted several days of my time setting up an experiment for some MSc students that I knew wasn't going to work and then it didn't and now I look like a tit and they got exactly nothing out of the whole experience. Meanwhile I am trying to ship off some equipment to Sweden and the carriers are making me jump through hoops rather than just telling me exactly what information they need all at once. I swear that my supervisor must think I'm bloody useless.

I'm definately in on this one. The world of work and the daily commute has made me most grumpy.

PS I don't think this thread should be in this forum, it doesn't get the most exposure here. I think Postgraduate means Doctorates, Masters etc, not Post-Graduation! Perhaps consider moving this thread elsewhere and they'll be more members around.
