I have an interview on monday for a sixth form at a new school and supposing they give me a place, I'd be starting tuesday. However, I can't help but feel nervous about moving. I'm excited don't get me wrong, but it still seems quite daunting.
I feel that making friends and finding my way around is a big worry of mine. I haven't had to make new friends for at least 4 years as I have a pretty solid friendship group already. My mum said that the next 2 years aren't about friends and more about a levels, which I understand, but having a few friends there would most probably make things seem a little less stressful. And as far as I know, I know nobody going there. (plus they started this week so I'd be a week behind.)
What if I get lost or walk into the wrong classroom?! Ahh!

Does anyone have any tips for this move? I'd be ever so grateful to hear them

    Thank you!

I moved to a new school to start sixth form last year. My experience was that I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived. For sure, it was a bit awkward at first not knowing anyone but you will naturally form new friendship groups. I was reluctant to change school at first, but after my first year I glad I made the change as I have been able to meet so many new people and hopefully friends for life. Change can be good. Good luck!
