Trolling is discouraged on the student room.

One of the few parts of the site not affected by this announcement is chat though. This has always had relaxed rules to allow a more fun atmosphere to promote community feelings and relaxation from the stresses of higher and further education.

Did you give the announcement a fair chance?

Sure the beginning could appear negative for the community but I feel that as an overall package it's something everyone benefits from.
