I'm not set to start uni until September of next year, however already I'm absolutely terrified of how I'm going to get by.

My parents I don't get along, and they're pretty insistent on the fact that, by the time I do go off to university, they're cutting me off financially.

My main problem, however, is that our household income is pretty big, and I doubt I'm going to get much of a maintenance loan - so I really, really, need to get myself a job when I get settled into the uni.

Lancaster is my first choice and pretty much the only one I want to go to. So are there many part-time jobs? Is it difficult to find work as a student? Thanks in advance!

There are quite a lot of part time jobs available for students, although if your parents are adamant that they won't support you financially then you should probably let SFE know as you should be entitled to a grant.
