Hi, I'm about to start my final year at sixth form (i.e year 13) and at the moment I'm going to take up further maths as an AS alongside my A2 subjects (Maths, Physics and Chem). I'm going to apply for Electrical & Electronic engineering (EEE) and the reason for taking up FM AS would be to increase my chances of getting into Imperial (though atm I'm not sure if London is for me). However, because of how the school organize everything I can only take FP1, S2 and D1 modules for the AS FM and i don't know how relevant S2 and D1 will be to electrical engineering so will it just be a waste of time and not worth the risk of decreasing my mark in other A-Levels just to increase the likelihood imperial will give me an offer? So what I'm asking is whether S2 and D1 relate to EEE and what other EEE students at Imperial did? Thanks.
