Hi, I'm about to start studying physiotherapy at Southampton and I've heard all these stories about stripping down to your underwear in practicals.
Problem is that a few years ago I self harmed and as a result have scars on my upper thighs and feel very uncomfortable exposing these to people I'm going to be studying with for the next 3 years as people have a tendency to judge a book by its cover. Shorts are fine but without shorts on they are very obvious and as a female, no underwear will cover them!

As a physio student are you required to remove your shorts?
