Intramural Sport?

Hey, just wondering if anyone at Bristol currently can tell me a little about the Intramural sport leagues?

Are they well organised? Or is it like a few random matches here and there?

How do you get on a team?

i have played goldney rugby this year and there have been regular games but a lot (around half) have been cancelled due to waterlogged pitches at coombe dingle (uni sports centre). as far as getting on a team goes there are different options -

most halls have football and rugby teams and also uni departments have teams, TUBES are the best rugby team this year and they are the engineers. the teams all recruit players during freshers week.

yeah there are; college teams dont tend to be that good anyway (in general) but for football its all well organised. Its more a bit of fun for most people than something dealy serious though - thats usually left to the uni teams...
