I really want to be a gp and i understand that working hours are long. Eventually i will have children and will want to spend some time with my family. I also have responsibilities such as making dinner and house work. I want to work full time but how much does a part time gp earn per annum?

Focus on the long hours of study as the first step!

Truth is that the whole of the UK is in the grip of a long hours working culture. I understand GP tend to work ~9-6 which is similar or better than other professionals. Mind you by the time you get there Gove will have you all working 24/7. Pay is good, perhaps fair recompense for the long journey, responsibility and stress. Many others graft hard for a lot less. I imagine part time working is an option. Good luck.
