Just try to get over it and stop thinking about him. If he dumped you by text message he's obviously not worth it.

Hey hun :hugs:, i broke up not so long ago with my bf who was my first bf.
Well, got dumped by a text twice as we got back together once ( it was the biggest i've ever made ). I know its hard and I still think about him...
Time is a healer , it may take a while but Im positive that I'll get over it
Try to be occupied, go out with friends, have fun, focus on things U want to do...pretty much i can say

I totally know how you feel....my bf broke up with me 8 months ago...altho weve had no contact since the initial break up. I still think about him EVERY day, not one day goes past when i dont. I keep myself busy goin out, and uni and stuff...and even tho he crops up in my mind every now and again during the day, its when i lay in bed my mind always goes back to him!
I think im unusual in taking so long to get over someone, but hopefully one day i will!!

I can't get over my ex.
He was my first love! Now he just ignores me. He dumped me over a text. It's been 5 months and I still think about him all the time. He's the only guy I've ever had a real, true connection with. We talked all the time, now it's hardly ever. I can't get over it.
Who else is in a similar situation?!
'I dont know what to do

I've gone through it before and I know it's a horrible feeling; especially just waking up in the morning and having this empty numb feeling that you've lost something important. But most of us all go through it, it's life. But then we learn to deal with it stronger and learn from it for our next relationship. I'm sure you'll become a much independent and confident person.

You should to keep yourself busy and there are several of ways such as:

Friends

Friends are important in our life, we have happy times with them and can talk about everything plus they're always there for you especially when you're in need of help. So why don't you get out there and have fun with fun and humorous friends - laughing is a great medicine! It helps relieve the pain and makes you forget about your worries (Plus, I doubt you'll be able to think about your worries while laughing and enjoying yourself! :p: ).

Hobbies

Start doing more of your favourite hobbies such as Art, Textiles, horse riding, dancing etc Anything that you're interested in! This would make you feel more confident in yourself and make your time worthwhile.

Generally, I know this is said so many times but time is really a healer. So the more you keep busy, the less time you think about him and the more you start enjoying yourself with other people.

Hope that helped.
