Well done on getting an interview for ljmu! Was that one of your choices the first time you applied?

This is first year of applying! Was going to apply last year but ended up not doing so. It's not my first choice as I want to go to Manchester or Salford as they are easier to travel to. Well done on getting an interview too! Is it your top choice?

Are you talking about interviews for Adult Nursing at Plymouth?

If so, mine's on the 19th at 9am! Do you know what documents we need to bring, other than photographic ID and second reference.

Yeah 😊 Ah, cool! Mine is at 1PM! Do we have to arrive at the time stated on the letter or are we supposed to get there earlier?

I don't think we need to bring anything else, not that I'm aware of anyway!
I only found out there was a maths test like 6 days ago. Not looking forward to that!
Good luck 😊 Shame we aren't in at the same time.

I've changed mine to the 24th at 1, so I can get there in time now aha:tongue:

Who have you gotten to fill out your second reference? xx

Ah that's good!
I've got a nurse I used to work with to fill it out.
What topical news are you going to talk about? X

I think it's best to get there around 15 mins earlier if you know where you are going! If you've not been before, I'd recommend aiming for 20-30 mins to allow for getting lost!

I'm currently sat at Waterloo Stn waiting for my train to Plymouth... Sooooo nervous! I don't even remember the last time I felt this nervous before!

Thanks btw, and good luck to you too!

Anyone going London South Bank next Wednesday for the tests??

I'm going for the test, I'm applying for radiography. What time is yours??
Hello!

Branch: Adult Nursing
Uni(s) applying to: UCS, UEA, University of Essex, Anglia Ruskin University and University of Hertfordshire
Relevant experience/extra info: I am doing Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma, requiring 200 hours of voluntary work, where I have worked at Sue Ryder Dementia Day Care, and am currently having a 13 week placement at a Hospice, where I work in the day care with individuals with progressive illnesses, and as soon as I turn 18 I will be working in the inpatient unit. I also have attended a St. Johns Ambulance first aid course, and have had personal experience with Macmillan and Marie Curie.

I have a job interview coming up next week too, as a support worker for young people with learning disabilities and mental health illnesses too. I would like to specialise in End of Life Care as an Adult Nurse, which is why I have found lots of experience working with elderly people. The Hospice I am at now cares for people 18+ though so I still have experience with all adults.

I JUST SENT OFF MY APPLICATION OMG I'M SO SCARED.
It say I'll get sent my track details in the post, can't they just sent it by email? It's down for the rest of this week now anyway so I won't be hearing anything till Minimum Monday, D:
How long do Unis take to reply? I can't stand this waiting game, it must be soon if the interviews are being held December?

I sent mine off on the 6th November, and I already have 4 interviews coming up. First is tomorrow eek! They don't take long at all. My first reply was on the 9th. Also, UCAS told me they would send it in the post, but I never got any post! I got it by email so you should get it soon. Good luck!
I'm a second year child student nurse if anyone has any questions

Good luck to you all with your applications! xx

Oh really? That's amazing, so only three days and in the space of two weeks you have interviews! This makes me a bit less nervous about the whole waiting game! Well done on the interviews by the way
I've applied for Mental Health Nursing at University of Hull, Edge Hill University, University of Cumbria, Keele University and University of Lincoln. I have three interviews already, one of them being tomorrow at Edge Hill :s-smilie: has anyone attended an interview at Edge Hill yet and can tell me what it was like? I'm really worried about the numeracy test as Maths is not my strong point.

How about you? I thought it would be quick once I read your previous message but I had no idea it would be a matter of hours!

Not at all I have no idea what to expect! I imagine it's going to be similar to my interview as an Auxillary Nurse but be more focuses towards the degree side? :,) and you must be clever for them unis! Very widespread as well! I didn't want to go too far from home haha

What was that interview like? I am clueless too...I'm scared that I am going to freeze in interview and have a complete mind block, and left without anything to say...

Haha! You are the first person who's said that. Are they difficult to get into then? I only chose them because all but Hertfordshire are around an hour to get to, so I'll be close to home. I also live about 5 minutes away from UCS!
