Muslims - would you date a non-Muslim?

No Only Muslim men for me, it's because I'm a practising Muslim so I want to be with someone who share the same values and beliefs as me

I'm just curious as to whether a practising Muslim would consider dating someone who is not of the same religion or avoid it, be it for family reasons, personal preference etc.

Is this a male? Do you fancy a Muslim girl and your a Christian?

If you asked me a few months ago,I'd say no. Whereas now, I'd date anyone who made me happy, regardless of religion. Marriage on the other hand, I'm sure there'll be complications.

Lol what kind of practising Muslim would date.
I think in all likelihood I probably will 'date' and perhaps even marry a non-muslim. My idea of dating would not be the same as western dating though (e.g definately no sex before marraige or intimacy), I would expect to get to know the other person though-by talking with them, socialising etc. The thing is while I am a practicing muslim, I dont feel I fall into the 'typical' muslim groups- I've tried socialising and I just don't click with them, and i'm not even sure they really accept me as a muslim (well thats how I feel when i'm around them). I'm mixed race, and my family is not overly religious (e.g I don't wear hijab, my mum was not brought up wearing hijab either), and I think the problem is where many muslim families have the "arranged" marraige (more so introducing two individuals to see if they want to be together) as a means to overcome the dating issue, that just isn't going to happen for me. Its not a cultural thing for me, nor do I have extensive family/friendship ties to other muslims. Guess its made even more complicated by the fact i'm female and its haram to enter into marraige with a non-muslim. Its a dilemma...

Idk. You would have to speak to a scholar about that. You can't marry a non Muslim.
