Girls, opinion on tote bags with really thin straps? watch

    • Thread Starter

I want to get something like the following but Im worried the straps will break from the main bag if I put something heavy, like a macbook, into the bag or even just after a short period of use.

Also if Im paying upwards of £120 for a bag I want it to last a good while!

Anyone have any experience with the longevity of these styles of bags?

Personally I had two bags like this whilst I was at college, both snapped on me. You are better off getting a bag that will definitely take the weight. Or if you have text books, carry them in a seperate little shopper/canvas bag. I personally bought a leather satchel from AB Earth, pricey but worth it as it fits everything in and doesn't feel too strained, its like a Mary Poppins bag!
