1. can someone show me step by step for 8c pls....i managed to do it last nite, but i can't find my answer newhere, and i can't do it now

x = sect y=ln (1+cos2t)

Find an equation of the tangent to the curve at the point where t=pi/3

i only need the gradient, i can do the rest. thanx

find dx/dt and dy/dt by differentiatin both parametrics

and then dy/dx = dt/dx * dy/dt

i actually dont know of the top of my head how to do it, but that method seems logical i think

yeah i know the method inside out......but just doesn't seem to work 4 me!
