in my school i have missed a number of internal deadlines and nothing happens. they just give u a warning. come on they all want us to do well .. they make internal deadlines so that we finish work much before the final IB submission deadline and so that we can concentrate on ur studies from that time.. they are always helpful otherwise we will keep procrastinating.

depends on how strict your school is. in my school the EE deadline (final) was November 14, 8:00 hrs. If you hand it in after that, well, they won't take it. So then...you're pretty screwed. But we hand our EEs into our IBC so it's a very inflexible deadline.

For stuff like Historical Inv and WLs though, we hand it to our subject teachers and they're pretty flexible about the time, it just has to be within the day that it's due. But they very rarely change the date and if you hand it in late and it's an internally marked and moderated IA, you'll probably lose marks somewhere. Otherwise the teachers will just give a warning and detention (at my school anyway)

Every school has different coursework policies. At my old school teachers had to chase people to give in coursework weeks after the deadline. Where I'm at now if it's not in by 4pm on the day it's not marked. I would say just hand in as much work as you can, teachers may agree to accept additional work shortly after the deadline.

IB respects internal deadlines. If you don't hand it in by a certain day at my school, then the IA will not be sent.
