Hi, I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but currently volunteering to help write a blog about disability. Would love to find out more information about what's it like to socialise with a disability and would appreciate anyone who would be happy to share their experiences. Thanks for any help, would love to research deeper into disability to truly understand what's it like. Thanks again for reading this.

Not trying to be mean but if you are writing a blog about disability its going to be pretty tough to truly understand it if you're not disabled yourself or aren't close to anyone who is. There is much that is entirely alien not only to able bodied people but also to people with different types of disabilities.

Your question is far too vague. My experiences are for example, completely different to that of someone who is a wheelchair suer. (I've got multiple medical issues)

I've got a disability and I'm more than happy to share not many people are open minded, they just assume I'm thick and that I dont do well. I have had to prove a lot of people wrong, for example the careers teacher at my secondary school said I wouldnt be capable of doing A Levels. Well, unfortunately for them, that's not the case. I'm doing AS in English literature and language combined, Sociology and Media Studies, alongside GCSE maths retake. Ya boo sucks to them in terms of socialising, I'm not the best person to make friends and I have been a victim of bullying lots of times. However I do have some friends who are very accepting and take me for me hope this helps!
