lol so we take that as a no? Yeah I've had that occasionally, if you've done loads of exercise in the last few days or restarted after a long period of inactivity then that would be it. On an unrelated note, I have strained my groin extremely painful and annoying any ideas on relief? For OP, try iBulieve or any muscle soothing cream, they are quite good.

It can happen if you're suddenly doing more walking than usual. Last year we lived in a house at the top of a big hill, I felt my calves really aching all day and even saw the GP about it who soon told me to get lost.

It lasted a while (month?) so it should fade soon, on the other hand if this happens each time you do activity, it could be peripheral arterial disease. I asked the GP this when I had the aches and that's why he told me to get lost...

Id say either growing pains/cramp.

I used to get the worst cramp in the mornings or before I went to bed at night when I was younger. I would wake up and hardly be able to walk.
I went to the doctor about it, and it turned out that I had something wrong with my knees (even though the pain wasnt always in my knee)
He diagnosed having shallow grooves at the side of my knee or something, and he sent me to see a physiotherapist.

If it goes on for more than a few weeks you might want to see a doctor- I avoided going and ended up with 2 dislocated knee caps!

Well when I went all he did was show me some exercises that would help strengthen the mucles on the inner side of my leg and around my knee, to hopefully stop any trouble occurring with my knee by effectively holding it in place.

The exercises are hard though, because you have to learn to tense one specific muscle.

Personally I could never get the hang of it and gave up with them.

The older I got the less trouble I had with my knee though, so it worked out well for me.

Could it be something to do with driving, if you've changed cars or had the pedals adjusted, or even just driving more than usual? I find that can make my legs hurt quite a bit.
