Mine are:

Kanye West
Outkast
Nas
Rakim
Lupe Fiasco

I'm not saying these are the best, although I believe the top three there are simply untouchable in terms of what they did for hip hop, their lyrics, delivery, flow and how they have adapted to different pressures that have arisen throughout their careers.

These are my 5 favourite hip hop acts. What are yours?

Of all time, past and present? It's kinda hard to pick just 5.

This is probably my most listened to five artists, and they're definitely all in my top 10:

Outkast
Nas
Biggie
Wu-Tang

According to my last.fm account, my most listened are:

1. Death Grips (dont think you will find any rap group that comes as close to pure artistic expression as these guys)
2. Gucci Mane (love trap rap because of the energy & tenacity it has, and Gucci is undisputedly the Trap God)
3. Lil B (easily one of the funniest musicians of all time. Listening to his non-serious songs always puts me in a good mood)
Joint 4th. Kanye & Kendrick (these two guys are just pure artists)

Tupac (clearly the most influential rapper to have ever lived)
Wu Tang Clan (as a clan, they are untouchable by any other rap act)
A Tribe Called Quest
Mobb Deep (just on a personal level, the beats and lyrics do it for me)
Nas (probably has the title for all time greatest hip hop album)

Pe$os by Rocky was like the only one I like by him. I can tell why people like his other tunes like ****ing Prblm and anything else he's put out but I look for in rappers these days, in the factory line of trap music happening, lyricism and not something that sounds "wavy."
