That's the thing with Art. Its a lot more subjective than other subjects. There was this girl in my class who was good and she was the favourite of the teacher. But to tell you the truth she hadn't improved or changed her style from GCSE. It wasn't surprising that she got a high A because of that. However there was another girl who was more impressive and she did her work big. I was surprised that she got a low A to be honest. As well as that, my other Art teacher who we had for one lesson told us that our main teacher would deliberately mark us down even though he tried to convince to mark a but higher.

Normally a project is marked by about 4 people so that should never happen. Maybe you just didn't tick the right boxes? One option may be to read over the marking criteria with your art teacher, make some changes and resubmit your work?
