At the time when I was filling in my student finance I was planning on moving to halls or private accomodation. Turns out halls are full and the person I was planning on sharing a flat with instead backed out of going Uni. My chosen uni is local so its not a big problem staying at home although I will have to train/bus there. Im currently on the waiting list for any hall spaces that become available. Furthermore I may end up moving out and renting a flat midway through the year although I doubt it. Im getting about 3700 maintenance loan which Im not going to need for rent or food really as im staying at home. I suppose I could get a car which would be useful. But im more worried about getting unneccesay extra debt. Shall I keep the loan or not. I suppose having this money would be fun but Paying it back wont be.

The loan will come out of your wages once you earn over £21k per year.

I'd take it. You'd also need to buy books and it's there if you need it.
