Formal swap anyone?

Hiya everyone,

Minimo and I are in our second year now at Trinity and have only really been to a handful of other college formals, and practically none at all this year. Just thought we'd ask if anyone wants to do some kind of formal swap so that we can see what other college formals are like? Would also give us a chance to meet some of you we haven't met before!

Hmmm... possibly. Friends are extremely nosey though. I could always say you're from the theatre, or the mountaineering club or something.

However I have heard what's happened in the past when people have tried to pass the TSR crew off as people from societies...

Hmmmm....

"we're Robinson we're not quite as stuck up our arse as Trinity people"

I have to say, after skimming most of that, I REALLY agree.

haha no, I'm way too lazy for Cambridge! And hmmm, I hate to defend her but the girl has issues lol. I mean the number of times she was in tears over the "posh intimidating pashmiri girls" was not even amusing! I could publish a book on the stories of lisa!

Don't be silly mate! Crazy eccentrics like that are exactly the reason you wanna go to cambridge. never a dull moment :p:

Plus the added 'bonus' that you get the opportunity to seduce my sister of course!
since I'm lazy, snowed under with work and busy organising other social functions I can't be bothered to organise one at pembroke this term. Formals are always good though, am up for going if you find somewhere
i'm up for any kind of formal-age, although i'd really relly like to go out of college, because how ever much i agree to do swaps people seem to come here first andthe swap bit has never happened...

And to be quite honest, i always find that the best answer when someone asks how you know each other is "we met on the internet" - their reaction is always very funny... honesty is the best policy!

I like going to formals at other colleges and I'd very much like to go to a formal at Trinity. Or even anywhere else. So I'll probably do it, even if The Fish doesn't.

Was that written a couple of years ago?

I went to one at Trinity the other day... it was alright. The place had an atmosphere of being rather stuck up its own arse though.

Welcome to Trinity. We're considerably better than you...

I'd offer a formal swap, but I guess it'd be pretty boring for you Adhsur...

:dito: (Though I did make it to Churchill this term) Count me in - formal at Trinity sounds very cool.

I'd invite you to Catz, but I think Oz and moosey are getting rather tired of our hall (as am I).

I think it would be a good idea, but probably next term - I've spent far too much on formal tickets in the past few days.

This term is almost over so I agree. I've spent £50 on two dinners!!!
