Girlfriend needs some space

I've been seeing this girl for a couple of months now and we were due to go out for a few drinks and maybe a club last night. I texted her to see what the plan was and she replied saying that she had been thinking and needed some space, and that this relationship wasnt good for her at the moment, because she had a lot to deal with at the moment, so she decided to go out without me :frown:
We seemed to be going well, spent quite a lot of time together generally quite happy etc...
I don't know what I should do, should I just leave her or should I talk to her to find out whats going on and if anythings wrong?
Advice appreciated, thanks
Leave her for around a week, then get her some flowers or something..take them over to her house!

She might be super busy and stressed out, she might be pleased to see you after this has passed

If she needs space, she needs space. Best thing to do is to leave her to it for a while, and then catch up with her. Don't try and make her talk, if she wants to talk to you then she will come to you with any problems she might have. She said that she needs some space, she wont appreciate you trying to help her right now so wait, give her a couple of days, ask her how she is feeling and ask if there is anything you could do to help.

yeah so what she say's and give her a little space, just text in a fewdays to see how she was and then build from that, ask her in a week or two whats the matter, and just be supportive with out smouthering her

I'll assume that this is no longer relevant... It's easy to find stuff in a search without realising how old it is though! Locked, but if the threadstarter still feels it could be useful, feel free to ask in AAM.
