HELP PLEASE !!!!Can I do BTEC Science for A levels(equiv.: 3 A levels) if I only done Core science and not Additional Science in year 10/11?I want to have a career in the medical area and I got my GCSE grades however ,my sixth form says I am not talented enough / able to do what I want to do so they advised me to do Health and Social Care BTEC. So basically, I came from Belgium to the Uk in year 10 and I done Core science but because my first language is Dutch they didn't give me the chance to do Additional Science in year 11. Now that I know Core Science isn't enough to do A-Level Biology and Chemistry, I found out you could still do Science/ medicine(I think) if you take BTEC Science and afterwards 3 years of biomedical before going into Uni. But I am not sure about this, can anyone pleassseeee give a developed answer because Im trying to get into a new college/6th form because in my former 6th form they only said I could do BTEC Health and Social Care which I don't want to do. Btw, feel free to ask if u want to know my grades for my GCSE's. Thank you !!
