    Hi guys,

So I came out with AABCc in my A Levels this year (English, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Geography respectively) and I will be taking a gap year - I'm applying for uni this September for entry in 2016.

I wanted to apply for Economics at Edinburgh but they require ABB including a B in maths which I don't have. My next decision was to retake maths modules in my gap year (so doing alevels over 3 years) to bring the C up to an A/A*.

I was also thinking of applying to Manchester, Exeter, Royal Holloway, KCL (I saw their political economy course in clearing this year???) and SOAS.

Does anyone have any experience with Edinburgh or the other unis listed and their take on resits in gap years? Can anyone help me out please!

My GCSE grades are 5 A*, 4 A, including an A in GCSE Maths.

    Thanks for ANY help.
