shy

people always tell me that im pretty. the thing is though, i dont really believe them!

im really shy so most guys go for my friends who are much more confident than me (and no offence, but not as pretty as me)

so i never get any guy attention because they seem to frightened to try it on with me......

what should i do?

i have the same problem, when i am told someone likes me i dont believe them and my friends get more attention from guys even though i think i am a bit better looiking, actually dont believe people when they say i look nice

Nix!

People are always harsher judges on themselves. Confidence can be learned but not without knocks. It's a frame of mind, so just focus on the good things - like you've pointed out, you know you're 'pretty'.
