advice on denitsry!! can you become a dentist with an alternative route

I didnt do well in my first year due to extenuating circumstances, so now instead of A level chem, bio and maths my college has allowed me to do btec medical science and A level health and social, I wanted to dentistry originally but not that i'm doing btecs i'm uncertain if i can still do it by going done a different like doing a biomedical science degree and then from there going into dentistry i wouldnt mind going abroad i just need some advice i would be really grateful :smile:
