    Hi guys.

I'd like to know - is it possible to gain a teaching qualification online, or even part time?

The reason I ask is because I have recently decided I want to become a teacher, however I cannot afford not to work. I do know that some courses offer paid placements, however currently being on 25k I cannot imagine a placement will match that salary.

    All advice welcome.

    Cheers!

Yes you can do a PGCE part time, i'm not sure about online. Don't be put of full time, finacial support is availale from student finance. You would also have to look into what bursaries and grants are available to you, depending on what your degree is and what you want to teach.

Most trainees need money coming in. You can get up to 25,000 tax-free as you train.
