I have my induction day soon , what happens on it ? I will not know anyone there ?!?!?

I could be wrong here (my induction was 2 years ago now!), but I seem to remember that we were given a speech, and then divided into groups according to a colour we were given beforehand. Then we went off with our form tutor into a room, and a register was taken etc. Our form tutor gave us a brief tour of the college, then we went back and had to do ice breakers and other hideous activities. I think we got to go home early after that.

Basically if it's anything like mine was, you'll have a speech, get into a group, be given a tour of the college, forced to do a few icebreakers, and then go home

At my school, we met our teachers and people who would be in our classesand were given a tour of the school; we also had to take this sort of IQ test. Honestly I thought it was a big waste of time. Mine was 3 days though

Last year at my 6th form induction, we all sat in the gym and had a talk from the head of year, prefects and head boy and girl, and were given our timetables. We sat in our house groups. Then the new pupils were taken on a tour, and we got put into our form groups, had an assembly and our school photos, and then had the last two lessons of the day.
