I'm in an ACA training contract and whilst I don't mind audit and understand the need for it to be done - I mean, if anyone can just type a load of figures without them ever getting checked, business would just collapse.

But longer term, I think I'd like to move into something more value adding, maybe even marketing/advertising. Is there any potential to move into something like this?

Also, would you risk losing you ACA accreditation if you move out of something accounting related all together. Anyone have any examples of someone doing the ACA to learn a bit more about business and then moving into a value-adding role?

I actually enjoy learning the ACA, it's the actual audit experience which I'm wondering if anyone employing someone for a value-adding role will be interested in?

How are you feeling in the run-up to Results Day 2018?
