Hey guys ,
I know it's a dumb thread but I want to ask you about UCAS reference numbers. I have the following issue : I took my IELTS results a month ago but when registering for the exam I have not listed any universities to which my results to be send since it was too early. Do I actually need my results to be sent to the universities or filling in my IELTS reference number in UCAS will be enough for the universities to check my results ?

I think filling in the IELTS ref number is the correct way
I also didn't list universities when I registered for the IELTS exam (I'm actually not aware that you can do that??)

If there is a place on the UCAS form to put the Test Report Form Number then put it in. If there is a place to put your overall band score or the score for each individual component then put those in too. Many universities are able to access your result online using the Test Report Form Number so they will be able to verify your results that way. If and when they want to see the actual form they will ask for it and you can scan and email it to them. They will probably want to see the original when you go to the university to register in person at the start of your course, so remember to take it with you.
Hope this helps.
